Ford Motor Co. has introduced its truck model Ranger' in the International Australian Motor show which was held in Sydney. As per the plans this particular truck will be made available for sales in about 180 countries by coming summer except in North America. The headquarters of the development team for the product were in Melbourne and the new globalized platform will be used by the Ford Motors and also by Mazda Motors. Ranger is featured with a rear view camera, load control system, gas and diesel engines with one and two variants respectively will be accessible to the customers. The assembling of the vehicle will happen in Argentina, Thailand and also in South African countries. No need to look back for the mileage as it is expected to give 22 mpg within the city limits and around 27 on the highways. Ford is known to offer best fuel economy and the toughness resistant body for the trucks.
There are 3 available models in Ford Ranger. They are XL, XLT and Sport vehicle. With the available suspensions and stabilizers the ride with normal conditions will be smooth enough for the models XL and XLT (4x2), whereas for the more rough roads, XLT (4x4) and Sport vehicle are additionally equipped with a torsion bar, the shock suspensions etc. The power of Ranger (4x4) features V6-4.0L which gives the possibility of shifting between 2wd and 4wd on the fly. Irrespective of the transmission type whether it is manual or automatic, 5th gear is meant for driving in the highways which will ultimately lead to fuel efficiency.
SafetyDriver gets the option of Dual stage, front air bags, sensing system of front passengers are all the standard safety measures taken by Ranger. Tire pressure monitor is one of the importantly placed equipment which has to check the pressure of the tire very often to maintain the range mentioned by the tire makers. Maintaining the correct pressure of the tire helps in maintaining the driving comfort, safety travel and fuel efficiency. Automatic alerts are sent while the vehicle detects any low pressure in the tires. Pre warnings provided by the vehicle also provide pre cooling for the passengers comfort and utmost convenience. Remote starting and stopping system of the vehicle helps to start and stop the vehicle using a single button option. But unfortunately this option is only available in auto transmission vehicles.
